A woman from Pelzar was killed in a car accident in Greenville County this afternoon. The 77-year-old woman was driving eastbound on S.C. 418 when a car crossed the median and hit her head on. Two people were injured in the accident, including the driver of the other car.
A head-on collision near Pelzer has killed an Upstate resident and injured two others, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Scot Edgeworth.
All of the vicitms were taken to Greenville Hospital System to be treated for their injuries. The hospital is not releasing any information about their conditions. The South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating the accident.
