The man was charged with five counts of involuntary manslaughter, two counts of felony serious injury by motor vehicle, driving while impaired, reckless driving to endanger the public, driving left of center, and unsafe tires. He is in serious condition at a local hospital.

Our View

Our drunk driving attorneys in Virginia only represent the victims of drunk drivers and never represent drunk drivers themselves. We work hard to sue drunk drivers in court so that they have to pay both criminally and financially for what they have done.

We represented a family in 2009 whose son suffered serious injuries due to a drunk driver hitting their vehicle. Fortunately, the child eventually recovered but our work allowed the family to obtain a significant, confidential settlement. The monies that were awarded were invested in a structured settlement account that will pay the child for a college fund with disbursements in equal amounts in his 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st birthdays. The structured settlement account grows tax free.
