Evenflo has received reports that the seatbacks of their highchairs have been coming loose or loosing parts which have caused injuries to some infants. The recall spans over 20 different models. There have been 320 reports of seatbacks detaching or unexpectedly reclining and 158 reports of fasteners, screws and caps falling off. 64 children have been reported with injuries from the faulty highchairs. To check for model numbers you may visit their website or call their customer service line at 800-233-5921. The Evenflo Company will send a repair kit upon request.

Recently Evenflo has also recalled some of their child restraint/car seat products. The University of North Carolina Highway Safety Research Center has a great website which can inform parents as to recalls with any manufacturers’ car seats.
