Our View

Our Virginia and North Carolina car accident attorneys specialize in car accidents with personal injury. We would like to remind all drivers that distracted driving is a deadly problem in America and getting worse. In 2013, 3154 people died in crashes caused by distracted drivers.

Distracted driving can take many forms:

  • Talking or texting on a cell phone
  • Adjusting the radio
  • Falling asleep
  • Talking to passengers

Whatever the cause of the distraction, taking one’s eyes off the road for even a second can lead to a fatal crash.

Our North Carolina car accident attorneys have worked on many serious personal injury lawsuits where there were devastating and life-changing injuries to drivers and passengers. While a civil lawsuit against the liable driver can bring $1 million or more in financial compensation, this does not bring back the dead. And many of the seriously injured will never be whole again.
