Firefighters and police crews were on the scene of a crash that involved two tractor trailers and three cars in Tarboro, North Carolina (NC). Although the accident had involved several vehicles, there have been no reported fatalities among those involved.

The multi-vehicle accident occurred just after 2 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 64 East and the Howard Avenue exit outside the town of Tarboro, North Carolina (NC). One of the tractor trailers involved overturned along the highway.

one injury described as not life threatening. North Carolina State troopers who were on the scene said wet conditions were believed to have played a part in the multi-tractor trailer crash.

The left-hand lane of Highway 64 East had remained closed after the incident and did not open back up until after 5:00 p.m. causing traffic delays. Witnesses and some of the victims in the accident agreed that everyone involved were very fortunate as the crash could have been much worse.
