Teen Killed in 2 Car Accident In Franklin County NC


An 18 year old woman was riding in the back seat of a friend’s Toyota on Oct. 2 when the driver ran a stop sign and slammed into another vehicle. The accident occurred in Frankline County NC at Pilot-Riley Road.¬†

A witness said the car tore through a fence and came to rest after slamming into a tree. The young woman was ejected from the car and died there.


According to the police report taken, two other people were injured in the second vehicle, but their injuries were minor.

The Toyota driver was not hurt and he was charged with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle and failing to stop at a stop sign.
